Dallas based artist, Daniela Segovia is known for bringing memories, experiences, and iconography from her Mexican heritage to the center of her work. Daniela captures intimate moments in people's lives. Influenced by her surroundings and experiences, she elevates her practice using different mediums, including traditional painting, textiles, and screen print. 

Daniela has studied at Maryland Institute College of the Arts, has received the DADA Edith Baker Art Scholarship for her paintings in 2018, and the Yozo Hamaguchi Print Media Scholarship by California College of the Arts in 2022 for her Screenprints. Recently she has been accepted as one of five students in The League for Innovation competition that will compete on a national level.
